We are highly diversified with direct business dealings in real estate, jewelry, tea manufacturing and refilling; and is a major shareholder in local insurance and other investment companies. 05. MANAGEMENT

A man of vision, respect, integrity, compassion, wisdom, professionalism and excellence has come to life in 1934. Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Wahab Naghi, is the founder of Al Naghi Company which is now locally and internationally acclaimed. He is a loving husband to Madame Wedad Sawaf and, a truly responsible father to his sons: Mohammed & Walid; and daughters, Ghada, Najwa, Heyam and Manal. His humble beginnings started as a Trainee on business accounting matters at Mohammed Abdul Wahab Naghi & Co. – Importers and Agents, a company founded in 1911 by his late father – may God bless his soul. With his diligence, perseverance, experience and wit, he later became the President of the company. Equipped with his business acumen and vast experience in all areas of business operations, he confidently put up his own business independently. He bought a ship of cement as well as imported women’s shoes and bags from Cairo that started his own trading business. Diversification was already a viable thought he had in mind then. While reaping success in his trading business, he ventured into real estate and took the route of buying and selling lands. One of the lands he bought called “Ard Al Majzarah” has been kept in his memory lane as in his view this land was the rarest of all pearls and was actually a pearl - blesses from God to those who own that land today. Years passed and he left the trading business of cement and the women’s shoes and bags. He decided to open a shop in one of Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal’s buildings in Bab Makkah in Jeddah and pursued with the importation and selling, both wholesale and retail, of original spares parts for Ford cars while he continued with the Real Estate trading of buying and selling lands.

On 26/02/1377H (21/09/1957G), Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Wahab Naghi, established and founded Al Naghi Company for the trading of fast moving consumer goods and genuine pharmaceutical products. Several years later, he established: Al Naghi Brothers Company, Al Naghi International, and Al Naghi Jewelry - all under the umbrella of Al Naghi Company that owns the sole and legal ownership of the trademark Al Naghi. His distribution business for consumer and pharmaceutical products started being the agent for Parke Davis, Gillette, Bristol Myers, Nicholas, Boots and Twinning Tea. The business flourished, continued to grow and developed for Al Naghi Company that has become the agent in the Kingdom for major and top multi-national companies who are at the forefront of business and industry leaderships in the fields of Pharmaceutical products and Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Wahab Naghi, had a vision for business stability, permanence and continuity. As a step toward translating that vision into reality, he brought into the company and diligently trained his two sons, Mohammed and Walid, with whom he has built strong faith and confidence to be his successors in managing the business, and in keeping the legacy of the company that has been built from generation to generation. Presently, Al Naghi Company is home to multi-national companies who are industry leaders: Pfizer, Roche, GlaxoSmithkline, UCB, Merck Sharpe & Dohme, Astrazeneca, Servier, Leo, Aspen, Bristol Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble (Gillette, Oral B, Braun, Crest, Duracell) Nivea, Red Bull, Nestle and Bentleys. The humble beginnings of a Trainee then, is now Al Naghi Company which is synonymous to a name that has become a source of confidence to any multinational company seeking to have an agent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The late, Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Wahab Naghi - may God bless his soul, has been managing the company until the succession of his two sons to the company in 1988: Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed Naghi and Sheikh Walid Ahmed Naghi, who until presently are managing the company with renewed vigor following the traditions of generations.
